Check a list of companies against Companies House
Looking companies up one at a time on Companies House takes hours for a long list. Klerio checks every company in your spreadsheet against the register in one go, flags the ones that are dissolved or insolvent, and adds the details to your file.
How it works
- Open Check companies in Klerio and drop in your CSV or Excel file. It's read in your browser.
- Pick the column with the company names. Klerio finds it for you if it's called Company or Organisation.
- See each company's status, number, date set up and registered postcode, with problems listed first.
- Download your file with the details added as new columns.
Why Klerio
- Dissolved companies flagged: Dissolved, in liquidation, in administration or struck off: listed first.
- Only certain matches filled in: Acme Ltd matches ACME LIMITED. A different name is shown as a possible match for you to decide.
- Only names leave your device: The file is read in your browser; just the company names are looked up.
- Official public data: Straight from the Companies House register.
Common questions
How many companies can I check?
Up to 300 different companies at a time; repeated names are looked up once.
Does it work for sole traders?
Only companies and LLPs are on the Companies House register, so sole traders show as not found.
Is it free?
Company checks are part of the Klerio app, which you can try free for 5 days.
