Merge CSV and Excel files into one
Two jobs that people mean by 'merge': putting files one after another (a month of daily exports), or adding columns from one file to another (prices onto an order list). Klerio does both and shows you what didn't match before you download.
How it works
- Choose 'stack' to put files one after another, or 'join' to add columns from a second file.
- For a join, pick the column that links them. Klerio suggests likely ones.
- Turn on 'match loosely' if names or phones are written differently in each file.
- Check unmatched rows on both sides, then download.
Why Klerio
- Columns line up by heading: Email, email and E-mail land in the same column when stacking.
- Match loosely: Acme Ltd joins to ACME Limited; phone numbers match in any format; postcodes with or without spaces.
- Unmatched rows shown: See which rows found no match before you download, so nothing goes missing silently.
- In your browser: Files are merged on your device.
Common questions
How many files can I stack?
In your browser, as many as you can choose at once (up to 100 MB each for CSV). On Klerio's servers, up to 10 at a time.
What if a key appears twice?
Klerio tells you which keys matched more than one row, and uses the first.
Is it free?
Merging is part of the Klerio app, which you can try free for 1 day.
